IP Based Access Control Systems

Security systems based on electronic door access controls can be customized to meet your individual needs. They can handle a multitude of security challenges and are highly customizable. A key security feature in a building is providing authorized access to secure areas to protect employees.

Access control systems based on IP differ from traditional systems in that they operate over your LAN/WAN connection. They also offer the capability of providing electronic access to specific users by using a backend database. Aside from that, they are usually easy to expand, allowing you to add 50 or more doors without having to rewire your system.

Biometrics

The popularity of biometric access control systems has increased as technology has advanced. Unlike traditional access control systems that use key fobs, cards, or passwords, biometric systems use the individual. Since these systems don't require items like cards, passwords, or cards that can be lost, they are highly efficient.

The data required for a biometric access control system is collected using a reader or scanning device. It is highly secure because each piece of access data is highly personalized and unique, as a fingerprint biometric scanner produces images of ridge structures on a fingertip that are linked to an access control system.

Traditional Access Control System

There are a number of traditional access control systems available, but key fobs and access cards are by far the most common and prevalent.

Each panel collapses in its center and projects into the opening instead of sliding right or left.

They lift up and out of the opening to provide more space in front of and on the side of them. Bifold doors come in two sections, providing many design options.

Steel and Wood Sectional Doors

There are many types of sectional doors, including steel and wood, that are often used in commercial applications. The most common is the overhead door, which can roll at an incline, vertically, or at 90 degrees. They travel on rollers on a track and are aided by springs counterbalancing the door. It requires only 14" of headspace, with a low headroom option of 12". All components can be replaced. It can be insulated, weather-sealed, or both.
